At Discipleship Child Development Center (DCDC), we support holistic child development through various programs addressing the multifaceted needs of the children in our community:

By providing activities, we push back against the cultural systems that push children in poverty to support the family by working and marrying early.

Education is essential to breaking the cycle of poverty, but that fact is not always recognized and valued. We encourage children to succeed in school.

There is no hospital and little medical care in the community, so we also support children’s physical health.

We provide awareness of important issues that affect our community and its children.

We also offer free medical services to the people in our community.
We could do so much more . . .
In the past, we’ve provided children with school tuition and supplies, educational tours, outings, food, clothes, medical assistance, hygiene classes, singing classes, music classes, dance classes, arts and crafts, and special gifts.
We are unable to have this level of programming at the present due to a lack of funds.
By sponsoring a child, you can meet a child’s physical and educational needs, and help us continue to bring holistic child development programs to our community.
